What measurements do custom cushions need?
Good cushions start with the finished size, not just a rough furniture measurement. Width, depth, thickness, corner shape, back angle and whether the cushion needs ties or a zip all affect the final fit.
- Measure width, depth and finished thickness.
- Note rounded corners, tapered seats, curves and existing seams.
- Photos help show furniture shape, backs, arms and fixing points.
- Existing cushions can be copied or adjusted when the old fit was not quite right.
